Happy Halloween, everyone! Since I’m not on Instagram or Facebook, I like to share our Halloween costumes here-even if they aren’t super crafty-so thank you for indulging me!
This year I had two main goals in the costume realm: easy and comfortable and I’d say we nailed it!
Ben and I decided to be characters from the movie Napoleon Dynamite. Owen is Napoleon, Ben is Rex Kwon Do and I am Deb. Wendy wanted to be a cat and Greta chose to be a witch.
I screen-printed Owen’s shirt and sewed Ben’s pants and durag. Otherwise, we scrounged up/bought our other costume components (you might notice, Greta is wearing a dress I made for Halloween 2 years ago, hooray for continued relevance, ha!). The last few weeks have been absolutely crazy so it was nice not having too many Halloween sewing projects going on.
